One of the classic treks in Nepal, Everest base camp is most commonly visited as a two week trek starting and finishing at Lukla, the airport just to the south of Everest National park. This trek has a number of stunning attractions, the foremost being the satisfaction gained by reaching the base of the highest mountain in the world. Other attractions include the spectacular scenery of the Himalayan ranges. The Everest trek involves a tremendous amount of uphill and downhill walking.

Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Trek

 

Day 01 : Arrival Ktm transfer to hotel BB

Day 02 : Free day in Kathmandu, hotel BB

Day 03 : Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2800) and trek to Phakding

Day 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar

Day 05 : Rest day at Namche Bazaar (for acclimatization)

Day 06 : Trek to Tengboche

Day 07 : Trek to Pheriche

Day 08 : Trek to Lobuche

Day 09 : Kalapattar (5200m) and Trek to Gorakshep

Day 10 : Trek to Everest BC & return to Lobuche

Day 11 : Trek to Dingboche

Day 12 : Trek to Tengboche

Day 13 : Trek to Namche

Day 14 : Trek to Lukla

Day 15 : Fly back Lukla to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel BB

Day 16 : Free day in Kathmandu, hotel BB

Day 17 : Final departure
